Company History
L.I.T.E. Therapeutics began in 2007, as the result of a several nurses who saw a need that wasn’t being addressed adequately in the healthcare sector. Like so many other businesses, RN health coaching was started to meet a need. A problem was seen, a solution devised and a successful business began.

I was a part of a team of nurses, working for a rather well-known healthcare provider that offered a service similar to health coaching, but to an elite few clients only. The service was a success and was greatly appreciated by those lucky enough to take part in it. However, the service was limited in a variety of ways. All contact with clients was by telephone. The clients who had the opportunity to avail of this service already had multiple health problems. It occurred to us nurses, that many of these issues could have been prevented if the individual had been in a program like ours earlier.

In our day to day work, we saw the major improvements that our clients were enjoying, both in their appearance and their health. We counted more than 20 different diseases that we were helping our clients manage and improve. Of all the health-related behaviors that we helped them work on, we soon learned that weight loss was by far the most significant one. A client could see quantifiable positive results directly from his or her weight loss in illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, back pain, depression, heart conditions, certain cancers and more.

We learned that even though doctors were recommending weight loss to help their patients, it was often not motivation enough. Despite the amazing health related results that were noted as the pounds went down, we quickly learned that it was typically appearance-related goals that helped to motivate our patients even more so than improving their health. Understanding this helped us do our jobs better and from this philosophy, L.I.T.E. Therapeutics was born.

We toiled long and hard to form a service that is unparalleled in the marketplace today; one that understands those facing health challenges and is ready to provide them with well-researched, scientific methods combined with wellness therapy to help them achieve their goals. We are confident of the value of our service and have gone the extra mile, hiring only the best graphic artists, writers, computer programmers and marketing specialists to make sure that we have a true business in a box ready for an RN to run with. We have built our own very successful health coaching business that has helped numerous patients get their lives and their health under control. Despite the personal satisfaction this has brought us, we wanted to do more. That’s where L.I.T.E. Therapeutics and RN Health Coaching come in. We realized that by equipping other RNs to do what we have successfully done, we are making a much greater impact.
